Controlling the Urge to Spend
With the budget already mapped out and priorities set, another deterrent to saving is something which cannot be planned. It is the urge to spend on something out of blue.If money is available then there is no problem. But sometimes the easiest way to buy things is through credit via loans or credit cards. Some people can control spending and will just spend on really important things. Others seem to not have this discipline and thus find themselves constantly in debt. Shop-a-holics, as they are termed, find shopping therapeutic or even automatic.So how can a person control this urge to spend? It is through conscious effort by which one can prevent spending inappropriately.
